Think I’ll have to recheck that baseball schedule, perhaps the game wasn’t today after all. Fortunately it was a nice day for a walk at Elmwood Park, snow or no snow.

Deciding we really didn’t want to spend the day inside, we headed to Elmwood Park (that’s in Omaha, Nebraska) for a winter walk. As you can see by this picture, there was snow on the ground, the pond was frozen, and it was really quite pretty out.

It was fairly cold out, but the wind wasn’t bad at all. There were very few people at the park, though it was a Sunday. Most people there were out walking their dogs, though we did see one guy doing some cross country skiing.

Although this picture was taken while on the grounds of Elmwood Park, the only part in the photo that is actually Elmwood Park is that portion before the fence, the main content of the picture is really the golf course next to the park.
